Mare Island Power Outage-Update 10/28/2019
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, PG&E dropped the transmission lines that serves the distribution of power for our Island Energy customers on Mare Island. Island Energy staff were not notified in advance. Our staff has been in direct communication since the incident with PG&E to determine when power will be restored to the transmission line.
Due to the fires and other emergency issues, PG&E currently has no estimated time for power restoration to its high voltage transmission system serving Island Energy.
Additionally, PG&E has informed us that they will be performing a planned shut-off on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 4:00 AM which will further affect our transmission line and customers.
Outage information and updates can be found on our website at http://www.islandenergy.com/blog1/outage-information/.
