Wednesday PM Outage

Island Energy experienced an Island-wide power outage beginning about 5:15pm Wednesday evening.  Power was restored to most by 6:11pm.  The cause of the outage was PG&E transmission line #2 – originating in Novato – going off-line for undetermined reasons.   The Island Energy crew responded and switched to our PG&E backup transmission line #1, restoring power to the Island.   Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
