Wednesday Power Outage

Today’s Island-wide power outage is believed to have been the result of an underground cable fault in the southern portion of Nimitz Ave.  Power was restored to most customers in about an hour, with remaining North Island customers back on around 1:15pm.  Island Energy will continue to investigate and determine the exact location of the fault and make repairs.   We apologize for the inconvenience.
