Heat Event

Over the next 4-5 days (starting September 1, 2022), California will be subject to an extraordinary heat event.   Although Island Energy customers are not yet shown to be directly impacted, we STRONGLY encourage conservation of both ENREGY and WATER during this period. If you have solar panels:  Charge electric cars, do laundry. other electrical use between 11:00am to 5:00pm.  Do everything you can to reduce energy use in the evening, and limit all water use.  Although power disruptions appear unlikely at this time – be PREPARED.   Please call Island Energy with any questions.
